This original portrait of Martin Luther King, Jr., was done in oils on a linen canvas. It is a composite of a number of photographs
and movies of him. The background sunset was modeled after a photograph I took of a sunset from an overlook on Route 95 near
Arcadia, WI. I felt that the golden sunlight would be the ideal lighting for Dr. King's face.

of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Western Wisconsin Technical College, and the La Crosse Center.
This painting measures 24 X 36 inches.
